The Nursing Science Foundation Switzerland was established in 2005 in Basel and set itself the task to preserve and further develop nursing as a driver in society and as a professional skill through supporting nursing science and advance scientific research in the field. The foundation supports the endeavor to further explore and broaden the body of knowledge in nursing and encourages the integration of these research results into practical nursing. It provides financial support for research projects, scientific publications and events, promotes young scientists and honors outstanding works, personalities and institutions
